This website was born through the need to inform and reemphasize something as important to us as the respect and integrity of our land and our natural surroundings. This local movement spontaneously sprung up after the announcement of Aragoncillo Project I and II of exploiting the uranium in part by the company Minera del Rio Alagon (Mine of the Alagon River), which encompasses more than 400 grids of mines and affects about ten municipalities from Anquela del Ducado to Molina de Aragon. We believe that these mining activities are an illegal
attempt against zones protected by the European Union and by their own local government (JCCM). On the other hand, there is the public domain which, through the mining of uranium, will have to endure contamination and destruction of the natural environment on a scale that affects our land, towns, and people in an irreversable way. It is incomprehensible to us that with a government that supports renewable energy, we could be threatened in this way by an energy source that is clearly in decline. With this in mind we ask for your support and solidarity for our cause, which is one of love for our land and the natural environment in general.

The deadline for the company to present the corrections to the EIA expires on October 6. We have many strengths and can be happily resolved this sooner than we thought
